- Information about your book review selections (due via e-mail next Monday)
- Tips about the research topic meetings.
- SIGN UP for research topic meetings (the meetings will take place on Sept. 21, 23 and 28 during our class meeting time).
Notes * * *
Benkler is challenging. Don't be afraid to use a dictionary -- or Wikipedia -- to look up words and concepts that are new to you!
For next Monday, you will read two research papers (see Week 5). The WRR&DQ about those papers is required and cannot be skipped.
Research topic meetings will take place on Sept. 21, 23 and 28. Make sure you are properly prepared. The research paper is described under Required Work. The Topics page can help you to think about what you will write about.
In your individual research topic meeting, you'll tell me what your topic is, and I'll give you some advice. You MUST read some scholarly articles about your topic BEFORE you meet with me.
Make sure you read the Writing Tips before our meeting. You will also benefit from reading the Research Paper Guide (PDF, 2 pages, 11 KB) before our meeting.
