READ (1) Chapter 1 from Flash Journalism: How to Create Multimedia News Packages (PDF, 700 KB); (2) Lesson 4 in Adobe Flash CS5 Professional Classroom in a Book (ACiaB)
EXAMINE Touch and Go (animation); these short "stories" show how a very brief and simple Flash animation can nevertheless be very clever.

Animation in Flash takes a bit of getting used to. The basics are not very difficult, but you will need to practice them multiple times to become comfortable with them. If you invest some time in basic animation now, you'll be able to move forward without continually returning to re-learn the animation techniques.
