Assignments
- 15 points Audio 1
- 15 points Audio 2
- 20 points Soundslides
- 20 points Video
- 30 points Attendance*
Total: 100 points
* Attendance will be graded. For 15 class meetings, each full-class attendance earns 2 points. Points are earned only if you attend the class.
Points will be deducted for lateness, leaving early, or inattention (e.g., checking your e-mail) during class.
There are no excused absences. All absences, regardless of reason, earn 0 points.
Policy for Late Assignments
–25 percent if delivered after the deadline but less than 24 hours late.
–50 percent if delivered more than 24 hours but less than 48 hours late.
–75 percent if delivered more than 48 hours but less than 72 hours late.
–100 percent if delivered more than 72 hours late.
For example, if you handed in a 10-point assignment, and your grade was 8 out of 10, and you were 25 hours late -- your grade would be 4 (8 - 50%).
All assigned work must be handed in as instructed.

If a student's total points include a fraction of 5/10s or more, the total will be rounded up to the next highest integer. Thus 87.5 becomes 88 (B+), but 87.49 remains a B.
