LAB Start work on Project 1
- Be prepared to be interviewed by another student during class. You must tell a true story about yourself that is interesting, short -- and NOT embarrassing. Give some thought to the story you want to tell.
- You will be photographed. The photo will appear online. Be ready.
Digital audio recorders will be supplied.

You must bring these things with you to class today:
- Headphones. Earbuds are okay, although there are better choices. You will need these OFTEN in this class. If you don't have headphones, buy them. I recommend these (about $40) or something similar. Do NOT use noise-canceling headphones for audio gathering.
- Digital camera, if you have one. Make sure the battery is charged, and also bring the USB cable to upload pictures to the computer. (If you use a card reader, then bring it.) You do not need to own a camera; I have two for sharing.
